Introduction

Waypoint Ventures Co LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Resolve credit management platform accessible at resolvecredit.app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Resolve, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy is provided for informational and transparency purposes. It is not legal advice.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the Service.

Account Information: Name and email address (used for authentication via Supabase); password (stored as a secure hash - never in plain text).

Credit and Financial Information: Credit scores (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) you manually enter; negative account details including creditor names, balances, account numbers, and delinquency dates; dispute status, notes, and correspondence logs; documents you upload to the Document Vault.

Usage Information: Actions taken within the Service; log data including IP address, browser type, and access times (collected by Supabase).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Service: to authenticate your account, display your credit data and dispute history, generate AI-powered dispute letters and coaching via Claude AI (Anthropic), store your documents, maintain dispute tracking and reminders, and improve app features. We do not sell your information. We do not use your credit data for advertising or any purpose outside the Service.

3. AI-Powered Features

Resolve uses Claude AI (Anthropic, PBC) via Lovable's AI Gateway. When you use AI features, relevant portions of your credit data may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy. You may choose not to use AI features - all core dispute tracking functions work without them.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS) - your data is strictly isolated and accessible only to your authenticated account. All connections are encrypted (TLS/SSL). Uploaded files are stored encrypted. No security system is perfect; you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with: service providers (Supabase, Anthropic, Lovable) bound by their own privacy policies; when required by law; or in a business transfer (with advance notice).

6. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Account deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days. Uploaded documents are retained until you delete them or close your account.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, delete, or request portability of your data at any time by contacting michael.hunte@hotmail.com. We respond within 30 days. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA.

8. Children's Privacy

Resolve is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
